Bringing together 15 tracks, 14 of which are unreleased, this opus is made up of exclusive recordings of pieces signed by Prince and which subsequently enjoyed success in the mouths of other singers..

“Originals” concentrates unpublished recordings of Prince made for different artists

The opus is a selection of remastered tracks and demos, compiled by Jay-Z and Troy Carter for Warner Bros. productions. Most of them come from the 1980s, a prolific decade for Prince, producing no less than nine albums and a long series of songs for Vanity 6, Apollonia 6 or Jill Jones.
