Real name Noel Scott Engel and native of Ohio, Scott Walker began his musical career as a bassist, before launching in 1964 the trio Walker Brothers in 1964 which will produce the classics “Make It Easy on Yourself” or “The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore ”as well as 3 original opuses. He will then fly on his own at the end of the 60s by realizing in just two years a series of four albums that have become cult, the “Scott I”, “II”, “III”, “IV”, deviating at the same time little by little towards experimental music. Increased productivity and notoriety which will not be without consequences for the singer who will admit much later to having had to fight against alcoholism and depression, after the release of the last part in 1969.

After the Walker Brothers adventure, Scott Walker went solo with the production of the four parts of the “Scott” series: I, II, III, IV, between 1967 and 1969.
