The Moto G series of phones has long been a safe bet in the vast world of mid-range smartphones, thanks to its performance in terms of design, battery life and screen quality, sometimes exceeding that of more high-end products. Motorola therefore continues its momentum, with this new Moto G7 2019 vintage of which it has reduced the upper and lower edges, thus increasing the size of the screens and batteries. This new series is available this year in three models: the G7, the G7 Power and the G7 Play, soon to be followed by a higher-end model, the G7 Plus.
The new Moto G7 2019 range comes in 3 models and soon 4
In this new sibling, the G7 (not to be confused with LG’s other G7) plays the role of the big brother. Equipped with a 6.2 ″ Gorilla Glass screen with a resolution of 2270 x 1080, the G7 also has a Ram increased to 4 GB, as well as a storage space of 64 GB. Its rear panel is equipped with of two cameras, with a main lens of 12 Mpx as well as a depth sensor supposed to improve the portrait mode, endowed with 5 Mpx. Another strong point of the G7, the support for the Motorola Turbo Power system, allowing, according to the manufacturer, an autonomy of 9 hours after a quick charge of only 15 minutes..
The Moto G7, a superior model while waiting for the G7 Plus
The second model offered as an intermediary is the G7 Power. If it has characteristics below the model above, it can however boast of a major asset, its 5000 mAh battery, higher than the 3000 that equip the G7. The manufacturer announces an autonomy of 3 days and is also compatible with the Turbo Power express charging technology. Equipped with a screen equivalent to the G7 (6.2 ″), its resolution is lower than 1520 x 720 and its edges are also slightly larger. On the photo side, it is equipped with a 12 Mpx rear lens. Finally, with regard to its memories, 3 GB of Ram will be used to run the machine, as well as 32 GB for storage.

Finally, the G7 Play closes the offer with its smaller dimensions and price. Naturally, the compromises are more marked here, with a screen of smaller size at 5.7 ″ for 1512 x 720, with wider edges than its companions. Its plastic casing also closes 32 GB for only 2 GB of Ram. Its battery is equivalent to the classic G7 and its cameras have 13 Mpx in the rear and 8 in the front

If these 3 models of the G7 range show some differences, they also have some points in common. They all offer the SnapDragon 632 processor from Qualcomm, a 9 Pie operating system from Android, an 8 MP face camera, USB-C charging, as well as a fingerprint sensor..
Moto G7, G7 Play, G7 Power and soon G7 Plus
Like previous Moto G models, the new generation Motorola G7 continues the tradition of a clean look and finish, especially when it comes to the G7 and G7 Power. It is regrettable, however, that the offer has been split between the latter and that they have to choose between improved performance or greater autonomy. We would indeed have preferred to have both.
